The Huntsville, AL Homewood Suites received commendations for two awards given during the Southeastern Homewood Regional Brand Meeting held recently in Atlanta. The hotel received the prestigious Stewardship Award which is given for outstanding community service, and the distinguished Connie Award. The "Connie" award, named in honor of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels Corporation, is given to "the best of the best" within each brand in the Hilton family.  This award recognizes the hotel that excels on key components which include quality assurance audits that measure cleanliness, condition and brand standards, as well as customer scores that rate staff service and the quality of the hotel's physical accommodations.
